This is a trend that most marketers have noted and in their findings, they have captured that the consumer market is vast and in constant change and expansion. Every other year, different companies spend billions of dollars on goods and services and this is mainly due to the consumer preferences that change and increasingly become diversified. Through this, most organizations have found it very challenging to comprehend the needs of the customers and eventually satisfy the customers. For most of the customers, they often apply rationalizations of the past decision when they buy some of the products.

Most organizations currently are faced with challenges in retaining their customers and meeting their needs. Therefore, there is a need for almost every other organization to develop the best skills to market their products and effectively provide for the customer's acceptable products and services in an organized manner. Nonetheless, technology has shaped the competition in most industries and has even brought consumers to the market. Technology, at the moment, is widely dispersed in most countries and for most businesses to survive in the intense competition worldwide, they have to be considerate of the diverse consumers and even pay more attention to the needs of the consumers. Several factors exist that affect the consumers and their choices when making purchase decisions. Some of these factors that affect consumers when they make their purchase decisions include culture, social class, and subculture. Culture in this sense entails several factors among them include knowledge, morals, beliefs and other capabilities that are acquired by man as a member of the society.
