According to Audely, a number of apps are being released on daily basis with a sole aim of gaining more business (Audely, 2011). They provide a better after sales services and access to required information, save time and ensure customer loyalty and satisfaction (Owen, 2010). The website illustrates this through a new creative application technology called Radio Frequency Identification (RFID). 2.0 Project Rationale This project is driven by different reasons. Each reason has strong contribution to realizing and completing excellent and professionally competent website. a) Knowledge, skills and insight gained during my learning stint as a Business Information Technology. b) Availability of online tutorials that provided teaching on website technologies. c) Web development experience gained through Life project with a Manchester company. d) The need for individual or organizational online presence and my SEO skills that make a website in the top result search list in Google or any search engine (Chang, 2009). e) The fact that the cost of starting and running such a project is not expensive. 3.0 Project Analysis The project is has established aims and objectives that it seeks to execute and realize its value. 3.1 Aim The project aims to have a complete and professional website that will demonstrate the role of smart phone apps in strategic marketing. 3.2 Objectives The objectives of the project include: a) To attract business by building up the repute of the website b) To promote website through text messaging, social networking and blogs. c) To control, monitor and update website based visitor’s feedback. d) To improve the layout, contents and related aspects of the website. e) Ensure minimal cost and efficient utilization of resources. f) Develop, release and host own and third part apps g) Ensure availability of most hot apps in the market h) Facilitate simultaneous downloads of same app. i) Ensure apps for different mobile operating systems 3.3 Content The content of the website will comprise content about significance of smart phones apps and marketing and host the apps. It elaborates how Smart phones are great tools that can promote sales, help save live, locate shopping stores and purchase online. The content focuses on the use of smart phone technology called radio frequency identification (RFID) to locate a product amid voluminous array of inventories. 3.4 Industry Analysis There are series of website with smart phone app content. This website leverage from developing and programming smart phone apps, how to buy the apps and website that are selling apps. However, very few website that focuses on my idea. The idea of the project is to elaborate and highlight some of the existing smart phone apps that can benefit individuals or organization in their marketing strategy. 3.5 Industrial Skills As a Business Information Technology at the Salford University, I seek to develop and maintain reputable professional online. One that develops around lessons learnt practical experience, research and ambition. 4. The revenues will be generated by the commission from sold apps, release and host own apps and adverts. 5 Practical Analysis 5.1 Communication The main language of communication for the website is English. However, in the future the project will introduce new languages based on the inflow web traffic of regions. The domain name comprises the names of the project owner that is highly searchable and used in social website. Use of external links and references on the website that generate related content will create opportunity of connecting users from the external website. Web pages are search engine optimized to increases opportunities for third party commercial ads (Marshal, 2007).
