Summary of How the Lesson Proceeded The class was very interesting and proceeded as had been planned. However, children participation is the single area that must be worked for future classes. It was during the counting process that often children attention to the work in class often waned and particularly those four years of age. The students kept asking the teacher a lot of questions mostly questions that pertains objects that are not related to the topic area being taught in class, and were gradually being guided to the topic area. At certain times, the children could make noise that would render the class improbable to continue with, and measures had to be undertaken to divert their attention back to the class. General Ethical Codes demands that a teacher to commit always to the best interest of the child, and in the class the best interest of the child, was for them to establish ground knowledge in counting numbers. The children could infrequently mistake the numbers, at times mentioning number one in place of ten, and two in place of three, and, and others. However, as the lesson progressed and from the results of each the student oral scores from frequent questions posed in class, six out of the eight students could correctly name ad identify all the ten numbers. The other two children could also name and count up to five numbers. This was a vast improvement in their in class performance, as they were unable to correctly count all the first ten numbers.
