The paper thus reviews a book called face to face which is useful in terms of teaching and learning the English language. Preliminary The title of the book is Face to Face 2nd Edition intermediate student’s book with DVD-ROM and online workbook pack. The book was written by Chris Redstone and Gillie Cunningham. It was published by Cambridge university press between 2005 and 2009. The book targets the youth and young adult learners who are interested in learning the English language both written and spoken. The book is about learning the English language with emphasis on enabling the learners to know more about he complex words and terms that are used in spoken English. A DVD accompanies the book and it is equally useful to the learners in terms of learning the English language. General attributes The book marches the specification for the syllabus used by the young adults and the youth when learning the English language concepts. It is important for an article to meet the specifications of the learners for it to be relevant. Conclusion In conclusion, it is evident that the book clearly explains the concepts of the English language to the learners. It is well written as it contains several learning aids which are beneficial to the students.
