Summary: There were mass evacuation of Jews from many towns but the story of the Jews in Denmark is not always told. The author gives a fictionalized account of a true story through the eyes of a 10 year old and how her family helped her best friend’s family out of the country.
Summary: This book was a delightful look at a variety of issues in using children’s literature. It provided the reader with ideas that could be used to identify children’s literature with a global picture.
