The Impact of Online s on education Introduction The future of education has always been an important concern in front of the world. Education process has been very vulnerable because of many ongoing issues in the development process of students. There are controversies and debates recorded supporting the traditional method of education and opposing online education because of lack of physical presence of faculties in online education programs. Online learning plays a major role in the future of education at business schools. Educational system should look towards solution of problems that arise in the traditional educational process. Online education is one of the most important alternatives that can provide students time and new ideas for business oriented decisions. This essay will discuss about the impacts of online education on Master of Business Administration. Discussion Online education has been doubted by many people because of the change in the educational trend (Green, 2000). In the modern world Online education is accepted by students because of various reasons. Students who choose online education courses mostly belong from middle or lower class group and they prefer to work while they are studying. Master of Business Administration is a course that is available for business studies. Students participating in M.B.A. mostly have a tendency to become young entrepreneurs. Online educations have been able to shift the paradigm that has helped students to think in a creative manner because they are exposed to numerous knowledge forums rather than a single opinion of a particular text. Education should focus on business for solutions to its problems (Levy, 2003). Education does not simply mean a classroom with many students and a faculty standing in front of them. The implementation of technology is a positive way to achieve educational goals. Students getting knowledge through online education also get the support of faculties online. There are course materials provided to students through online web sites that offer the courses. In the traditional class-room there is a lack of innovation despite of prescribed texts and support from online materials. (Pierce, 2007) Students who go to college and sit in classroom have notion that they have to complete the syllabus provided to them in a stipulated amount of time but the creative thinking in the mind of students do-not get proper space to boost up. M.B.A. is a course that helps students to understand the working of organizations. The job profile and responsibility of an employee is well described in the course pattern along with the art of maintaining employee relations and high yielding output. M.B.A. focuses on delivering optimized knowledge about marketing and financial role of a company compared to the real market. Management itself explains the art of motivating labours and generating new ideas that can help an organization to obtain maximum potential. Online M.B.A. helps students to grab knowledge provided to them through their course materials along with advises from their faculty with whom they can communicate at their free time (Vesper, 1997). It also helps students to find their own solutions to a particular problem. Online courses providing M.B.A. focus on five main objectives that can help students obtain their desired job after completion of their course. Obtaining Data Analysis, helping students select their own specializations in their master degree program, proper M.B.A. formats, providing students flexibility to study in their desired time zone and relieving students from paying high course fees. These are the five factors that online courses provide so that students can obtain their education in proper circumstances. Students who go for online M.B.A. most of the time do not want to spend huge money against their course. Getting educated in a classroom definitely has its own importance because students can get resolution of their problems with the help of faculty members in front of them. In traditional educational system students get to know about versatile ideas from their classmates related to a specific topic. However the resolutions obtained from classmates might not be appropriate. In online education system students have a chance to take help of online materials available on the internet. For a specific problem students can get many appropriate solutions which can help them grow their critical and creative thinking ability. Understanding the market is also important. Students who obtain their education online are exposed to a variety of vast data and analysis report provided by leading marketing experts and famous writers (Arbaugh, 2010). In the 21st century it has been observed that there is a paradigm shift from traditional classroom to distance education learning. According to Theresa Sadler and Kendra Ingram obtaining education online for business courses is challenging because students do not get the advantage of social dynamics in an online setting. Because of absence of social environment the creativity development is at stake. However recent studies have revealed that online education if taken-up seriously by students can make great changes in the development of students. Online education provides students a scope of real-world learning which in-term can help them apply their creative skills in their work environment (Simon, 2012). The graduate Marketing course is one of the major courses in the curriculum of M.B.A. Every year many students take part in the course in regular face-to-face classroom education as well as online education. Online education provides students more sections compared to regular courses because students get a chance to fiddle various web-sites and journals which develop a mode of interest in them related to their course. Students who study their text-books do-not get a fair chance to develop proper interest towards their course because they find it boring and limited. According to research held in various colleges, it has been observed that students in regular courses do-not get a proper chance to interact because the interaction process is dominated by a cadre of individuals who are preferred in classroom and the remaining students end up being on the listening or receiving end (Howard, 2003). There are many students in classroom who do not have the tendency to ask questions or share their views in from of others because of their shyness and it stops their creativity development process. On the other hand students obtaining online education do-not have to face any kind of partiality of classroom and they get a fair chance to ask questions to their facilitators. Students can create their own views and post it to their instructors and get appropriate response on it (Moore, 2013). Moreover the exposures students receive by studying materials on-line motivate them towards their curriculum. Parents of students do-not have to worry about expense of huge money if they are obtaining their course related knowledge online hence it is preferred over traditional education in the modern world. M.B.A. courses include several analytical methods specifically in the marketing field, such as SWOT, PESTEL and Porter’s Five Forces that divide the economic structure of a country and the opportunities of an organization in a competitive market. Online Business education help students understand the theory and implementation of their course works in the organization they are likely to work in future. Conclusion Online education has definitely brought outstanding competition against traditional educational system. Though there are many people against online education because of lack of face-to-face interaction in a classroom but in business studies online education has been able to overcome the challenges and set-up a positive institution for students. Students prefer online education over regular classes because it helps them save their time and work while they are studying. Online M.B.A. help students motivate towards their course because they get proper chance to understand their subject by checking different type of materials available in different web-sites. Students can select the subject they prefer and they do-not have to limit their understanding. It helps them to build their creative and critical thinking abilities. Hence online courses have positive impact on education. References Arbaugh, J. (2010). Online and Blended Blended Business Education for the 21st Century. London: Elsevier. Green, J.
