With the help of modern science different types of troubles are being discovered around the globe daily. These troubles include some man-made problems like Wars, terrorism, pollution, etc which are devastating not only for our life but for the atmosphere. Most of the problems being found in the world are related to environmental factors.

It can be stated that the American foodservice industry has just begun its journey toward a green and pollution-free living phenomenon. Much forethought has been given in choosing the word ‘phenomenon’ because it will indeed be a phenomenal achievement should the restaurant industry be able to cement an organic identity for its own good.

In an era of news coverage that seeks to engage the most viewers, the discussion of global warming is something that many people have debated and discussed for decades. Such discussions have resulted in, among other things, questions as to whether or not global warming is in fact occurring and if so, what if anything can be done about it.  

Oil spills are one of the most inevitable threats that endanger the status of human and marine life that depends on clean water, therefore, as a precaution, laws must be made to address these threats. Two laws are significant to the implementation of precautionary and mitigating measures to the dire threats of oil pollution in the seas.

Environmentalists all over the world have tried to come up with meetings such as the just concluded Copenhagen climate talks and the forth coming Mexico climate talks in November this year so as to promote the conservation of the environment as well as encouraging governments to accept responsibility in what is termed as their participation in the green house gas emissions.

The first oil fields to be exploited in North Africa were Algeria’s Zeft oil field and Egypt’s Gemsa oil fields. These were discovered in the period between 1907 and 1910 (Thomas, MacGregor & Nick, 2003). Later other notable oil discoveries such as in Attahadi (Lybia) and Hassi Messaoud (Algeria) were made.

Global warming is an issue that should be addressed at the international level because it is posing risks to the existence of man, animals, and plants on the face of the Earth. The emission of greenhouse gases and the rise in the temperature of the atmosphere are very serious issues that need immediate and effective solutions.

The restrictions and interventions are usually the taxes, tariffs, and quota system by the government or some laws or regulations, which needed to be followed by the other party. There are few examples of free trade agreements, such as the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) and the Central America Free Trade Agreement (CAFTA).

The field of economic development can be viewed in four dimensions: economic, social, institutional, and environmental. From my area of specialization-environmental issues, I will look at it from environmental and economic points of view. From this perspective, it can be referred to as the balancing of the fulfillment of the needs with the protection of the natural environment

Environmental sustainability within my nursing profession has to do with good professional practice that in the course of my duty does not destroy the environment for the sake of the coming generations. Because nursing involves the provision of health care to individuals families and communities there are many activities involved in the practice.

There are various initiatives undertaken by the governments of Saudi Arabia and Australia to reduce carbon emissions, as noted in the essay. Both governments have signed numerous international environmental agreements on environmental protection. They also offered education to citizens regarding the importance of environmental protection.

The globalization process cannot be said to be entirely a barrier to sustainable development, neither can it be said to present the much-needed opportunities for sustainable development. To some extent, as discussed, it provides opportunities but on the other hand, it produces threats and challenges to sustainable development.

Such progress has led to economic growth by industrialization and transport congestion that leads to pollution. The increase in population results in land initially left for wildlife being invaded for industrial and commercial needs. Hence, Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) is an analysis process used to predict the positive and negative impact of a plan, policy, program, or project before they are put into action.

The petrochemical Industry focuses on producing chemicals from petroleum and petroleum refinery by-products. Basically, at the initial phases of developing and designing a chemical plant, choosing the route of the chemical process is an important design decision. Plastics comprise of large molecules and their formation process involves joining together many monomers.

As described earlier, the analysis methods that would be most appropriate include the temperature and acidity of the water. Phenol Red pH Test Kit would be appropriate for the acidity test since it’s cheaper and ready to use. Water temperature can be easily determined by water surface thermometers. The measures taken would be sufficient.

There are thousands if not millions of industries in the world that emit harmful gases to the atmosphere and release hazardous chemicals to our rivers. I have been concerned with the effects of these actions we call industrialization; it is very ignorant of us humans to contribute to the total damage of the environment that we share with other animals that deserve a natural environment to co-exist with us.

Aviation industry is priding itself as being the safest mode of transport in the modern world. Although the uncertainties are on the decline, there are still challenges to the nature of instruments of climate change that are still associated with increased the effect of the greenhouse.

Mining and all its related activities have been linked to various environmental effects. This is even though mining has been able to bring about significant developments such as infrastructure and the development of industries. Additionally, it has been able to lead to a higher standard of living among individuals who are working in the mining business.

Fossil fuel divestment campaigners have been running global campaigns to see to it that fossil fuel extraction is reduced and another alternative source of energy sought. These campaigners have had their reasons to cite for this move. Several organizations have managed to comply and have minimized their activities related to fossil fuel extractions.
