On the other hand, Third Guangzhou Triennial has also endeavored to instill the need for a new start and more creativity in the field of art. In this context, therefore, Third Guangzhou Triennial may be described as a selection of manifestations that emerged in this period. These manifestations emanated from inquiries that shed light on the global changes, both politically and economically, and the relationship between art in China in addition to other parts of, the globe. Wang and Peggy (2010) argue that The Third Guangzhou Triennial aims at exploring individuals’ critical vision; a factor that cannot be indicated to be a denial of intellectual beliefs of the new world.

Though; Post colonialism has not moved away from political influence; globalization is seen to establish its roots in this field. Post colonialism, has over the years been ascribed to its contribution towards demoralization of pieces of art, through constant criticisms. Guangzhou Triennial and Guangdong Museum of Art (2008) argue that post colonialism has for a long time eroded the efforts by various artists to contribute to art. In these forty years, analysts argue that China had come up with new lobby groups that would champion for change in the country, in an attempt with the existing global social realities.

Other analysts argue that new social realties have driven the country towards the creation of rich pieces of art that can easily compete on a global arena of art. This period was characterized by an invention of rich ensigns that were way beyond the normal world changing certainties. Issues that pertain to identity, class, sex and race have had a massive impact on the art in the modern day world. Guangzhou Triennial and Guangdong Museum of Art (2008) argue that Post-Colonial perceptions of power have led to changes in the way individuals express themselves through art.

In line to this thought, a majority of the artists have come up with a pluralistic way of presentation of their culture. In today’s world, presentation of culture in diverse ways has created a new group of individuals who have varying views on the concept. In this case study, the Triennial in question aims at highlighting the ideas of various personalities who believe in the fact that, political affairs play a chief role in culture, identity political beliefs as well as, post- colonial discourses (Berghuis, 2006).

However, the major issue facing curatorial performances is how to draw the lines between different races and cultural production. A
