Later the tribe returned and discovered that the women had survived and the women join them again and they even shared their food with the tribe as the tribe failed to gather much food for them (Wallis 113). This novel is a great reorientation of the misleading and distorted opinion that the society has formed regarding the elderly and the female gender. The society believes that individuals are of no use when they become old and women are weaker than the male generation. This novel contradicts both these thoughts and provides a great revelation of what women and the elderly can do even if they are alone.

This story surprised me as somewhat it was away from the reality that I had accepted. It clearly contradicted by discriminatory opinion against the female gender and the elderly and made me realize that individuals are equal and they have equal
