The strength of the economies of the world has rapidly developed as from the nineteenth and the twentieth century. As the American war efforts in Afghanistan comes to its end, the central Asia has started fading away from the public eyes, but the central Asian region remains a key area of the globe. The region is still not yet settled, as it is the neighborhood of both the South Asia and the eastern Asia. The region also borders Russia in the southern part. This will help in solidifying the corporation of the interregional and strengthening the relationship of the weak sates in the central Asia (Laruelle, 122). The united states of America and the international security bodies has paid a keen attention to the central Asia because of the war in Afghanistan as a strategic reason and staging ground. Even though they have not yet completely removed their forces from the Afghanistan region, the central Asian state will stop becoming a front line of the global strategy from the United States. This is because the United States security forces are changing their focus to the region in the Asia Pacific and the dominance of the American forces after staying for more than ten years fighting in Afghanistan. The United States and Central Asia after 2014 For the time being, central Asia will remain a key region to the Americans because of how fragile their internal relations are as it is capable of breaking down easily. This places a great danger in terms of refugees, crimes, terrorism, and radicalization because of conflicts. The states that are weak in the central Asia region are not able to address the issues that affect them such as drugs, crimes, and extremism that are exposed in these regions. The region is also at the risk of fights by the powerful nations in order to gain access and dominate the region such as China, Russia and the western countries. The “great game” renewal is, however, capable of preventing the outside powers that may have an interest in the central Asia region from becoming rivals.
