Prompt Mathematics field is my intended major. It interests me due to its intricacy and beauty. I was prompted to have a profound interest in mathematics as I was average in English Language. Additionally, I did not want to look like a failure academically and life in general. My consideration has been to reach my potential and to overcome any circumstances that may hinder me from achieving my goals. I had to try to do well in mathematics since it was easier for me to understand without much knowledge in other languages. My love for this subject developed because of its ingenuity. The challenging task is of solving difficult problems and subsequently recognizing that people can adapt in similar problems in the future. I merited in problem solving and answering questions of nature I had never seen. Ingenuity in mathematics is what my high school teacher used to reiterate. It fuelled my drive to widen my mathematical knowledge. I find it fascinating how perplexing mathematics problems are, which initially seemed quite impossible to me, but by progressively thinking imaginatively, I have been able to find numerous methods to the problems. Since my parents were self-employed, I always looked for an opportunity in which I could come in and help them into their business, making it possible to apply my mathematics skills practically. In fact, my parents were delighted to give me the responsibility of being their cashier whenever I happened to be around. I do enjoy the challenges of solving problems.
