Your organization is recognized for being one of the core suppliers our company relies on its daily merchandize. During the last AGM, your company was applauded by the shareholders for its experienced and expert commitment in the supply of the furniture decoration items for the whole of last financial year. In conjunction, your company is still recognized and you are being welcomed for future bidding with G.O.D. It was after stock auditing that the procurement department found out the mistake made during the items description. Consequently, G.O.D can not accept your bed linen items for now but next time you are advised to participate. G.O.D usually goes as per models features in relation to its own. As additional information, it is also worth noting that may companies including G.O.D have suggested on criteria to be used in item assessment; safety, up-to-date fashion, fabric compositions, and thread count. Therefore, this will act to allow you make future adjustment. You are highly welcome next time. Attached is our currently supplies’ criteria. Any inconveniency caused is highly regretted. Yours faithfully, Fkl Procurement Manager. Pleading memo through an e-mail From: servicesmngr@pechanga.co.au Date: Saturday, September 5, 2010 8:55 AM To: secretarybod@pechanga.co.au Cc: alldepartments@pechanga.co.au Subject: check the pleading memo Pechanga Casino Entertainment Group Temecula, California September 5, 2010 To: The secretary, Board of Directors From: F.K.R Subject: The Need to Hold Blood Donation Exercise I dully understand and recognize the roles of Pechanga Casino Entertainment Centre to provide recreational services to all people. However, it is quite inevitable that the same people face challenges in their lives with the health challenge taking a central position. It is therefore worth noting that Pechanga Centre should take part in laying-a-hand towards reclaiming and maintaining the health of our beloved and esteemed people (customers). In line with organization’s social responsibility, I would like to admit the unplanned request to let our organization hold an inclusive blood donation exercise. This will not only benefit those who are in need of blood but will also give our organization a good outlook. This will not be a new thing as the local Red Cross chapter aired its acute shortage of blood. I therefore kindly request your consideration to this note as our people will realize several benefits from the activity. Actually these are: helping to balance both the calmer and disastrous times in terms of blood availability; counteracting the risk of loosing the little available blood, and supplying both the accident and disease victims with blood. You can even confirm all these by visiting health records and articles. Furthermore, championing this activity will save lives of many infants who undergo surgeries in the hospitals due to various reasons. To reiterate the importance of the activity I refer to “Melissa’s article” attached on the mail. Please read it and kindly accept my plea with a generous heart. Thank in advance. Part Three: Online application Question Three The saying goes; “getting best players to play as a best team is nearly impossible”. This was evidenced by my colleagues during my coursework attachment with ABC Company. The program started when I was assigned a sensitive duty to act as a principal analyst. We began by assessing the marketing systems belonging to organizations which contracted the ABC. The team worked together although the roles were logically divided into three main groups; analyst group, design group, and the implementation group. These groups were viable throughout the six months time where they mutually supported each other. Analysis group dealt with the feasibility studies on the project where it established the criteria through which a new system replaced the old system. The feasibilities included technical and economical feasibilities. The second time carried out the design process. This was where the result from feasibility analysis was physically and logically laid using prototypes to test on the implementation. The last group was responsible for transforming the design into the actual system. This involved both technological and engineering process including coding and testing. Finally the process was accomplished and the marketing system was replaced in phases. This was not a simple process as my role was to coordinate these different groups which worked as a team to accomplish the process. In conclusion; teamwork is important and no team succeeds with a core team leader. Part four: Audience Analysis Question 1 Audience analysis is the process through all technical writers and communicators try to understand the audience needs for them to meet these. It involves understanding the audience: knowledge and training; needs and interests; and the demographic factors such as age-groups, sex, preference and others. The approach used is very inappropriate has the document do not meet the basic format, organization and writing style requirements. Question two A document can have several problems ranging from format, organization, and writing style. From the sample; the format has been tempered in the following ways; the paragraphs takes different formats, indentation of paragraphs inconsistent, the world body of paragraphs is also indented, salutation and the closing remark are ill-positioned. Also, the document writing styles was not taken into consideration. The document has several spelling mistakes, poorly punctuated, adjectives, adverbs; pronouns were used in a confused manner. English sayings, proverbs and most stylistic devices have been used inappropriately. In terms of organization; the size of paragraphs and the length of sentences are highly inconsistent. Sentences do not a logical flow or comprehensive meaning. References: A Doyle, Cover Letter Samples, 2010, retrieved 5th September 2004, RD Alcantara, Technical Writing, Goodwill Trading Co., Inc.
