Extract of sample "Interview with an Upcoming Designer"

I am Australian by nationality. I am doing my bachelor's degree in fashion design. This has been my life-long dream, and I have worked hard along the way to the extent of getting a fashion design scholarship. When do you hope to start designing? Although it has been my passion to draw from a tender age, this will not come through until six months when I complete my degree. I believe you would like to make designs that are specific to your taste.

Could you describe in three words what your brands would be like? Outstanding, original, and unique Are you interested in doing designs for both sexes or do you have a specific fashion that you would like to focus on? Through my schooling, I have come to love men’s clothes that get motivated by women’s design. My main focus therefore will be entirely menswear. However, this may not form my entire fashion career. At some point, I hope to shift my interest to women's clothes. What is your collaboration dream?

What has inspired you in fashion design? Through my education, I have come to embrace the idea of collaboration among different fashion corporations. This puts a unique touch on your designs, in addition to wider market exploration. In my career, I would like to collaborate with a shoe designer. I have come to love designs for such people as Frida Giannini and Mihara Yasuhiro Do you have a piece of advice for the rest of the upcoming designers?
