Coca-Cola Environmental practices - Essay Example

It is all a means of advertisement and promotion but has been popular for several decades. It has become a leader among branding and includes the bottling of more than just Coca-Cola but also soft drinks and Vitaminwaters so to appeal to not only those whom drink soda, but also for those who wish to drink decaffeinated beverages and other non-carbonated drinks.
Some of the environmental practices that could greatly impact the Coca-Cola company is that some people simply live in third world countries and may not have access to their products. This company does not necessarily target them as a priority audience but does its best to sponsor worldwide events which gain a lot of global attention such as the Olympic Games in which they have been corporate sponsors of the events on several different occasions. Coca-Cola has also actively taken on the use of the QSR codes that people can scan and get exclusive deals or receive other information. These are some aspects of technology that the brand has used to increase marketing. As far as global interdependence goes, most countries rely on the Coca-Cola brand for exporting and importing primarily from the United States. The commodity of Coca-Cola as a product that people around the world drink to quench their thirst is more of a want than a need but it has become an international brand that people recognize, know is of high quality, and can be found all around the world. Demographically speaking, Coca-Cola is a fairly inexpensive product that can be purchased by pretty much anyone that is near a soda machine or restaurant. Establishments all across the world serve the product as its primary beverage with the only competition that barely even touches the ranks of Coca-Cola, which is Pepsi.
