Besides my passion for the subject, one of the rationales for choosing mathematics for the major is my ambition to become an actuarial scientist, and thus, major in mathematics will play a fundamental role in preparing me to become one of the best in the science of actuary.
In terms of passion, I have always found myself closer to the subject that inspired me with numbers since early childhood. In addition, my parents have contributed enormously in encouraging me to build my passion for mathematics by providing me with mathematical gifts and most importantly, freedom to walk on the path of my passion. Besides parents, since early schooling, my teachers appreciated my mathematical skills and provided me platform that enriched them. At the age of six, I was competent in the multiplication table and I had great time learning with the table that became a habit for me. Due to the support of my parents, as well as teachers, I was able to acquire a clear distinction over my classmates due to my enhanced mathematical skills, especially in math-related competitions that were always a platform for me to win all the top prizes.
After schooling and college, university education in my home country facilitated me in focusing more on my mathematical skills, and I took the opportunity to practice and take full advantage of efficient faculty. In addition to my education, I taught mathematics to school students as well in my spare time that allowed me to recap learnt things frequently. Interestingly, I had students that were worse in the subject; however, I took it as a challenge, was confident in my objective, and thus, I worked on their drawbacks to formulate simple math lessons for them.
