In this regard, nursing professionals should provide treatment as well as care services accordingly, for better well-being and safeguarding of societies.

Medical law remains a legal aspect that focuses on the development and implementation of policies that govern the ethical provision of medical services within hospitals. The ethical values of professional practice become defined within the context of the laws which are utilized within the profession.

In this essay, I reflected on certain significant aspects based on a practical situation of cardiac care. The reflection was selected in order to underpin the significance of teamwork and leadership in nursing relating to the background of cardiac care. The activities undertaken during cardiac care have been described in the essay by using a reflective model. A reflection is a vital tool for every healthcare professional. 

Mr. Singh, a 56-year-old man has had a long history of acute infection. The chest pain that he has had for some time most probably attributes to several unknown factors that must undergo medical tests to ascertain. Having had the pain for a long time, chances are high that the patient could ignore the pain thereby enhancing the possible ailment into severe stages that may pose serious constraints in management.

One reality about family is ‘thrown ness’ (Kittay, 2000). The notion behind thrown ness is the supposition that one never gets the chance to choose one’s family. Instead, the naturalness of being born and part of a family become so conventional that not being part of a family seemingly escapes common sense (Tracy, 2005).

To begin with, there are specific guidelines that have to be taken into consideration before the surgical procedure, during the process as well as after the process. Reflection on practice experiences and events is essential for nurses to develop professionally and personally (Nursing and Midwifery Council, 2008a). Reflection is described by Bulman and Schutz (2004) as the way a nurse, irrespective of their career position, links theoretical knowledge and practice and is a very personal thing; no two people will have the same experience and feel the same way about it.

In this paper, I have presented a review of the hunger situation of African-Americans in the State of Mississippi, in an attempt to draw the linkage between hunger and malnutrition. Having the bleakest chance at employment among other racial groups, African Americans remain the most financially challenged group, a situation that inevitably makes them the most vulnerable in terms of hunger and its consequent outcomes, including malnutrition.

It is evident that change is indeed inevitable and every organization more so healthcare organizations must be geared up to adjust their processes through effective change models. Clostridium difficile also known as C. difficile or C. diff, is a bacterium that infects and makes people and other animals unwell. C. diff is gradually growing to be common and its symptoms are growing more severe and harder to treat. Statistics show that hospitalized patients are more prone to the infection however, it also affects healthy individuals.

This paper will critically examine my role as a mental health nurse with assistance from the multidisciplinary team in helping a schizophrenic who has developed a condition due to type 2 diabetes comes to terms with his condition. The discussions are based on a scenario whereby a patient, a man in his middle age, presented himself to the clinic for mental health-related attention.

Ankle sprain injuries are a common sight in many hospitals. People, especially athletes, normally have such injuries when they are busy training. Whenever they have such sprains, most of them take a radiography test to determine the extent of the sprain. In most cases, the test result comes out negative whereby no fracture of the bones occurred.

Infection control is a continuous process requiring the efforts of patients, healthcare givers and the community (Donskey, 2010). Many infectious agents have adapted to life cycles that guarantee their survival despite the many infection control measures in place. Nosocomial infections are increasingly becoming common across different sections of healthcare institutions.

In the workplace, there is a need to design an assessment tool for different illnesses in order to effectively secure efficient work conditions.  Diabetes is one of the chronic illnesses which have increased in occurrence all over the world.  Self-management is one of the primary tools being encouraged by medical practitioners in order to manage this disease and ensure early management and prevent disease complications.

This case study is a critical analysis of the differential diagnosis and initial treatment of 42-year-old Mr. Ali Bahmani. Mr. Ali Bahmani was brought to the hospital by his wife. Patient health care is composed of accurate and secure health information where all personal health information is held under firm terms of confidentiality. Hence, any information that would identify Mr. Ali Bahmani has been withheld.
