The company which has conducted the market research study is the leading cosmetic and beauty care company in Australia. The research was conducted to investigate whether their cosmetic product would be able to penetrate into the Chinese market through the means of distributors and direct sellers. The company conducted a survey by interviewing 450 consumers and 30 retailers in different areas of China. This was to understand the feasibility of their cosmetic products in the Chinese market. Their main aim was to determine the best method to get into the Chinese market and to identify the retailers suitable for enhancing their product knowledge. The first stage in the market study was interviewing potential consumers in the areas in China like Shanghai, Beijing, and Guangzhou. Read More
