? Interview Analysis and Write-Up Interview Analysis and Write-Up Theme Analysis from the Interview The answers to the interview question by Jay Nancy, and Danielle bring out various themes. According to Ferrucci (2007), kindness has the power to attract most individuals in one’s life, which from the first question of the interview, Jay has eventually adopted. Furthermore, the theme of kindness is also brought out through Jay choice of the historical figure that he most admires to be President Clinton who has continued helping the American people. The theme of ambition is clearly brought out from the responses received from the interviewees. Jay responds to the question of the on the people he admire by saying that he admires Martin Luther King, President Clinton, and Benjamin Franklin. Nancy indicates she admires Benjamin Franklin, Abraham Lincoln, and President Clinton. Danielle indicates that she admires Andrew Jackson, Martin Luther king, ad Benjamin Franklin. Remarkably, the entire list of the historical figures is deemed to be among the most ambitious men in the history of human invention and knowledge. Consequently, it is evident that most individuals have high ambitions to achieve their highest dreams. According to Garbarino (2011), ambition is a great deal to be competent and successful in the world. Through ambition, the listed historical figures were able to succeed and make a difference in eve individuals in today life. The interviewees also bring out perseverance and strength. Despite obstacles and hardship, a person who has the character strength of perseverance finishes a demanding and difficult task (Carr, 2013). Likewise, Nancy brings her father as a strong character who persevered to ensure that he provided for the family, a fact that has made her to admire the father up-to-date. Furthermore, Jay choose his father as the most iconic person because of the characteristics portrayed by him, which Jay would also like to develop that are strength, drive and strong will Determination and drive theme is evident in the interview answers about an individual’s choice of an aspiring role model and iconic individual. Danielle answers to the interview question indicates that the strengths of her grandmother, which are determination and drive are among the aspects that makes her view her grandmother as the most iconic person. Remarkably, the theme of love id depicted in question six whereby Nancy indicates that one of the characteristics she admires of her iconic person (her father) is love. According to Freud (2007), love brings an individual close to the person admired. This I one of the reasons that made Nancy admire his father more than any other person in her world. Data presentation The interview involved diversified variable that are challenging to represent. However, the most effective way of presenting data was by comparing the points of the iconic person chosen by every interviewee and creating a graph. The graph represents the information in terms of correlation as shown in fig 1. Figure 1 Presentation of the interview results Write-up As part of the requirement and prerequisite to the university action paper, I interviewed three participants namely Jay, Nancy, and Danielle. All the three participants are ordinary citizens and belong to different families. The profession that I am undertaking falls under human psychology and despite the fact that Nancy and Danielle are not psychologists, they have psychological knowledge. Jay is a family psychologist with remarkable published articles relating to the success of an ambitious individual family perception, and choosing role models. In my realization during the interview, Nancy has worked as an instructor in a number of universities specializing on psychology courses. On the other hand, Danielle has specialized in teaching human relations. The choice of the participants was to ensure that the onions give regarding my interview questions are not biased from the side of a psychologist, but give the general view with a clarification Jay, who has specialized in human psychology. Additionally, choosing Danielle, a human relation specialist would clarify the reasons why various individuals differ in who they perceive to be more aspiring in individuals lives. Rather than what I had expected, Jay posed a question before I had even read out my first interview questions seeking clarification on which psychology I was interested in undertaking. My response was very specific whereby I told him that human physiology was my interest. Surprisingly, Jay responded by indicating that there are different types of human psychology, which I was quick to saying that I am particularly interest in human relations and behavior. All the interviewees were now satisfied and were ready for the interview questions after they all said that the field I am focusing is right. Remarkably, Jay, Nancy, and Danielle had moments of silence and referred to quite interesting examples to back up their opinions throughout the interview, and this was the interview part that I found to be most interesting. Additionally, the interviewees seemed to be in the mood to counter argue on one participants opinion by kept reminding them that it was an interview and every answers mattered most in my paper. In one occasion, after I posed the last question based of other individuals admiration, all seemed to have the answer even before I could finish my interview question. According to the three interviewees, a person is admired as a hole and not on the specific achievements in life, which I also had a similar view. Based the choices of iconic persons, , it was surprising to know that individuals are different in terms of what they look for their role models and the persons that inspires them through life (Weiten, 2012). Jay picks the most iconic person that has inspired him to be his mother because of “her patience, kindness, and ability to go beyond limits.” Nancy chose the most iconic and aspiring person in her life to be the father because he worked hard enough to ensure that the family is provided for appropriately. Danielle, in a rather surprising choice, has a perception that the most iconic person deserving highest credit is her grandmother because she was a survivor and never let anyone get the best of her. However, there are weaknesses in every admired person. Generally, my expectations is that the interview will play a main role in helping me to write my paper most importantly on giving rationales on each psychological human behavior in terms of their role model choices. Moreover, Danielle pointed out that understanding human behavior and human relations should be of great help in fining the correlation that may exist between an individual and a role model.
