Thus, to get a clear picture of this topic one should study the different theories that explain human behavior. The four psychological skills in sports psychology, understanding myths in sports psychology (Griffin, 2008), and analysis of the different conceptual sports psychology models. For instance, the study of Wiese and Weiss's (1987) basic stress process model.

An essential research question that the researcher may seek to work on is what techniques can be used to enhance efficiency in initiating quick response for post and pre-sport injury. What response variables can be used in injury rehabilitation? The researcher should identify different response patterns and weigh their effectiveness both from respondents and from empirical studies. Research in this area is essential due to the recorded increase in the popularity of sports. Many people participate in sports and therefore understanding how to come up with quick responses to athletes’ behavior and anticipation of the same is highly recommendable (Morris & Summers, 2002). A lot of empirical concepts and theories have been developed in this topic and this makes it easy to come up with a literature review for the selected topic.
