The current is measured by an ammeter while voltage is measured by a voltmeter. Conditions of the system are varied by a rheostat. The rheostat functions by varying the resistance of the material.

There are several instruments in an electrical and electronics laboratory. An oscilloscope is another example of the instruments. The instrument can measure a variety of factors.The most important final part of laboratory experiments is writing reports (Herman, 2009). Reports involve a critical overview and analysis of results. The results are used to make a comparison with theoretical data as well as previous studies in order to draw a conclusion. The final conclusion should be in agreement with previous studies or should e confirmed against them.
