In the content analysis of the blogs, it was also found out that even when these post the negative issues these do not condemn Facebook and campaign for a boycott of the site because of this still by far the most flexible and fast-growing social network site.It is therefore concluded in this dissertation that Facebook is not bad in itself. Almost anyone with Internet access can be said to have an account in one of the many social networking sites available. Others have multiple accounts in one or in several sites. Most individuals have either one account in each of the sites. With the growth of these social networking sites, people have become dependent on these sites. These have features that enable people to inform other people with snippet accounts of their lives through shout outs or posts or blogs. They update these shout outs as often as they can whenever they have something they want to share such as their thoughts, a quote, a line from a song which they just heard or just something that happened.

Many people are hooked and this can impact their lives in one way or another. In 2009, the United Kingdom has around 76% of the individuals aged 16 to 74 who are Internet users (Eurostat, 2010). There was a dramatic increase in usage from 2003, with 46% of these individuals using and being connected to the Internet. In no less than 10 years, three-quarters of the identified population have already enabled themselves to connect through the Internet, showing progress in the use of ICTs and most probably also of online social network sites.
