Sociological and Workplace Impact Question One The political elite in the U.S and the rest of the world have least economic interest when making critical policy decisions. The ruling elite is interested in maintain the status quo of their rulings or if they make any economic decisions, they turn out to the principal beneficiaries but hoodwinking the public (Barone & Hickman, 2012). Most of the political decisions in U.S are strategic statements or actions that politicians install while waiting to strike at any opportunity.

For example, there recent U.S president’s decision to propose a law that allow immigrants to rights of settling in U.S if they meet specific conditions set by the same administration did not consider the economic effect. Consequently, many social organizations spring up to oppose insensitive political decisions by the power elite. Question TwoWorkplace isolation is a phenomenon that involves a worker feeling lonely in the work environment. It is a state where an individual does not have someone to talk to, crack a joke with during work breaks, or just share the spirit of work enthusiastically (Arora, 2012).

The situation, though not readily noticeable, often occur in organizations irrespective of the size. I think the workers in mental health facilities experience workplace isolation of highest degree because the people they interact with are out of touch with feelings or the happenings around them. That makes it difficult for such workers to bond with their patients hence creating the lonely feeling. Consequently, mental health workers may adopt solitude as their way of operations and have dull work experience.
