This paper describes the differences between religious groups in England and Wales according to their social attitudes. There is a category of religions which includes Christians, Muslims, Other religions, and People with no religion. (Jackson, 60) Christians comprise of the highest percentage of 63.5%, Muslims 12.7%, other religions 11.8% and people with no religion 11.9%. This given data illustrates that, in a religious social life, a majority of the populace prefers Christianity. In most English speaking nationalities, most individuals are Christians Most of the Christians do not actively practice their religion although they form the largest followers in a religious perspective. Only 40.3% practice their religion; 59.7% do not practice their religious beliefs. Muslims actively practice their religion and from the data obtained 80.2% are active members, only 19.8% do not actively practice their religion. The number of actively practicing Muslims is almost four times the number of non- practicing Muslim members. This shows the huge gap reveling that most Muslims are faithful to their religious faith. Other religions that do not actively practice their faith double the number of those who practice their faith. From the data acquired the religious group with the lowest percentage in actively practicing their religion is Christians. Christians form the largest religious believers in England and Whales due to their social attitudes, but they most of the members join the religion for reasons other than their faith.
