The Rococo Style of Art Rococo was a famous fashion style in France during the 18th century. It was incorporated invarious fields like architecture, beautifying households and sculptures. This fashion style was all about beauty exploring romance, flight of the imagination and generally centered on aristocracy. Its rise in popularity as the new fashion probably made the Baroque style become outdated. Its use of light ornamentals and much pleasing style gained its popularity. Rococo started from being used in interior designs but later it was incorporated in various paintings and carvings.

Rococo style spread across the Europeans regions like Germany, Austria; even though England at first regarded it as French style they later embraced it. The Rococo faced some criticisms about its presentation of art. The critics claimed that it was superficial and degeneracy. The Rococo style was quite popular among people from diverse social status and political stage. From the Kings Residence and palace; to many households and churches. Its popularity shows that fashion began a long time ago, and although it does not compare to the fashion of today, they also had a taste for beauty and pleasures the world could offer.

Its style inspired also many painters, who incorporated the styles in their paintings and produced magnificent art. The rise of Rococo shows that art evolves from continuously and each art has its own uniqueness. Despite its nature of portraying eroticism, and receiving much criticism, the middle and upper class people embraced it with vigor and pride which led to prevalent of this fashion. The people admired and desired to dress and walk like the rich class; this is the same situation as the celebrities of today people are trying to dress and live like them.

Alexander Pope Satirical Prose Pope uses satire in his literature to express a certain perspective. He reveals the ludicrousness and unsuitable behavior that the 18th century people of England had towards fashion. The woman Belinda symbolizes the kind of women busy indulging and competing for fashion, which can be slightly term as an act of stupidity. The satire is edifying and aloof. He does not directly attack a particular person but points out the moral infidelity in the society. The society in context is the 18th century aristocratic era of the rise in the fashion industry.

Although he also tackles other relevant topics whereby he continues the use of his satirical prose (Levey 45-70). An illustration is the case of the judge where he criticizes him for making rushed rulings in a ridiculous manner. The Rape of the Lock incorporates the masterful traits of a laudable blockbuster, nevertheless is used sarcastically to an apparently trivial narcissistic exclusive squabble. It eventually achieves a fanciful ridicule epic by combining the petty and unchanging. This piece of literature presents a humorous and light tone.

This consequentially elucidates the eccentric kind of the poem’s vital quarrel. The atrocities done by Baron like “raping” or stealing and the memorable hair style of Belinda are some of the issues of conflict. “The meeting points the sacred hair dissever from the fair head, forever and forever! Then flashed the living lightning from her eyes, and screams of horror rend the affrighted skies” (Pope, 153-156). This embroidered and overstated excerpt depicts the elementary rudiments of Horatian satire applied ridiculously here.
