The researcher would also like to thank her friends for sharing their insights on the research topic along with motivating her at every level to make the research successful. There is no doubt that frequent brainstorming with friends provided critical insights over the research topic that further helped in developing multi dimensional approach for the research. The role of the family is of great importance and the researcher would like to thank her family for their support and motivation. Their support helped in conducting the research in an easy and trouble free manner enhancing the overall appeal of the research. Overall, the researcher thanks everyone who has been a part of this research journey and expresses her deep gratitude towards them by being thankful. Without their support, co-operation and guidance, the research would have been just a journey without any aim and result. ABSTRACT Every research starts with a general view point that becomes a reality based on collected facts and information. The researcher wanted to examine the perception of staff at the Republic of Ireland Secondary School on the impact and influence of physical activities and education on the personal well being of students. For this purpose, primary and secondary research has been collected in an honest and ethical way. Primary data was collected using case study approach that is often based on an intensive analysis of a person or a group. In this case, the researcher collected data from one school rather than focusing on different schools. The secondary research clearly highlighted the importance of physical education on the personal and social well being of students along with showcasing that there is a positive relationship between physical education and academic performance of students in the majority of researches being conducted in the past. The primary research helped in collecting views and opinions of staff that further affirmed the fact that PE classes are of great utility and importance in the personal and social well being of students. Results of secondary research have been presented qualitatively by comparing them with views and opinions of other researchers in a critical manner in the context of the study. On the other hand, results and outcomes of primary research have been presented in a quantitative and qualitative manner that highlighted the perception of staff on the importance of PE on the personal well being of students. On the basis of primary and secondary research, it was found that physical education and activities play an important role in the growth and development of students along with enhancing their learning in a positive way.
