2. Interpretation Analysis 2.1. Attraction & Tourism Related Significance The most important attraction for the Victorian market is due to the quality of food which is considered superior compared to the food served at other places along with the culture which is promoted through the souvenirs which is available. Food and shopping thereby becomes one of the most important component based on which people are attracted towards Victoria. This is supported by the fact that food can be availed at a low price compared to the same food served in Melbourne and the quality of food is also superior in Victoria. In addition to it to attract different tourist and to promote tourism it is clearly seen that the food offered has different cuisines from different countries like China, India, Italy and others representing different cultural integration and providing a lot of option to choose from. The fact that the different areas are easily accessible and provide different opportunities to choose from have helped to use it as a medium to grow tourism and attract people to the region. Thus, the overall focus has been on food and culture at affordable rates while ensuring that the quality is not impacted. 2.2. Visitor Interpretative Devices The visitors looking to visit the places can use different mechanism to understand about the place they are visiting so that the tour provides them maximum satisfaction. The use of story boards which will provide information through blogs from people who have already visited the places will help to understand the tourist place better. In addition to it the brochures will also help to understand the different attractions, places to see, facilities and other aspect which will help to maximize the pleasure of visiting the place (O'Connor, 2008). Visitors looking to travel can also look into the history of the place to understand the culture, the different places to visit and others so that the plan can be done accordingly. For example, reading about James Cook’s Cottage will help to understand about the food, the culture, service level and other aspect before even visiting the place. Even using different ratings provided by people who have visited the place through agencies like Trip Advisor will provide an overview of what other people feel as ratings based on different component will be provided. This will help to refine the process of decision making and will ensure that the different components which have an impact on decision making can be examined and the different devices can be used while visiting different tourist places. This will also help to identify the areas which needs to be focused and improved so that the overall mechanism which helps to transform the level of services can be ensured. 2.3. Critique of the interpretation method used This section will look at examining the critique of the interpretation method which has been used by focusing on areas like appropriateness, assistances, different techniques which can be used, and the commercial success of using that mechanism. 2.3.1. Does the devise help in managing the asset for tourism and in preservation? The interpretative device which has been used for gathering information helps in managing tourism better as it helps to focus on areas which visitors give importance. The device helps the tourism management team to focus on areas by managing the resources in a better way by focusing on developing a process through which will help to improve the manner in which assets are managed. This will help to focus on identifying the manner in which different assets can be managed so that better services can be provided. This can be seen from an example where suppose people have given preference towards food while visiting the tourist place and look to visit the place because of the quality of food. The process can thereby look towards managing the assets by ensuring that the assets which will help to provide quality food are preserved. This will thereby focus on taste, service level, price, culture and other factors through which better service level can be ensured. This thereby will act as a guide and will also provide areas which need to be worked and improved on. This will thereby help to improve the areas which have a high relevance for visitors and at the same time preserve the different components through which better attractions can be ensured and the preservation of different assets becomes possible. This thereby helps to reduce the level of risk and provides an overall direction through which the manner in which different services are provided can be improved and the overall level of satisfaction can be improved. 2.3.2. Appropriateness of the Method The different methods and devices which are used help to provide a direction through which better management of asset in tourism can be ensured. The appropriateness of the method can be adjudged from the fact that if the different ratings and views which are provided by the visitors correctly will ensure that the result will be appropriate. In case the different ratings and views which are provided is incorrect will result in tampering with the actual condition and might not thereby provide correct and complete information. This at times creates doubts on the method which is used as it could result in providing incorrect result. Still the method can be considered as one of the appropriate methods as it looks to include a lot of different information and views. The manner in which different tourism sector and people work is determined after getting ratings from different individuals and only when sufficient information is provided the rating can be used. This will thereby help to ensure that the chances of providing incorrect information are reduced and the results which will be achieved by using the information will be appropriate and better. 2.3.3. Other interpretation techniques to be used To improve the effectiveness of the interpretation a survey method can be used. The survey needs to be conducted within people who visit the tourist places and should be provided by the person who has enjoyed the different services. This will thereby help to provide better information and will reduce the chances of providing incorrect views and ratings. Further, the process should be looked towards ensuring that when different ratings are provided they are correctly provided and are not guided or misled or influenced by other people. This will reduce the chances of incorrect rating and will ensure that only person who has availed the services provide the rating. This will thereby ensure that survey methods helps to provide better ratings and reduces the chances of manipulating the different ratings and views so that the manner in which future course of action will be taken is better determined. 2.3.4. Importance of Interpretation Analysis The interpretation of data is important and has a lot of importance as it helps to shape and determine the manner in which services will be provided. The different results which are received based on the interpretation analysis determine the manner in which different services will be provided. The process helps to find out the different critical success factors and helps to develop the manner in which services will be rendered. The interpretative analysis is further based on the different feedback and reviews which is provided by visitors which ensures that it highlights the different needs and requirements of the visitors. The process also shows the different needs and requirements of the visitors and the areas which helped them to attract and retain people (Au, Buhalis and Law, 2009). This will thereby ensure that the process provides effective information and will help to develop the quality of service in a manner which provides better effectiveness and multiplies the overall mechanism through which different decisions are taken. The interpretative analysis thereby acts as a corner stone in brining a change in the manner in which service is developed and helps to focus on areas through which service standards are improved. 2.3.5. Understanding of the overall quality of the interpretation The method of interpretation has its advantage as it provides important directives based on which important decisions can be taken. The method of interpretation is important as it determines the manner in which future services will be provided. The interpretation provides key areas based on which future services are developed. This thereby ensures that the risk is reduced and the manner in which different services are developed are improved. Since, the ratings and views are provided by the visitors it thereby acts as a method where original views and ratings are gathered. This helps to provide conclusive and evidence based finding for future service delivery standard. The overall measure and process helps to bring about effectiveness and protect the different assets through which better service quality standards can be developed. This acts as a mechanism for also improving the areas which the tourism sector is lacking and provides different areas which needs to be improved. This thereby helps to improve the level of service and provides an opportunity where overall preservation and development of assets and services becomes possible. Recommendations Proper evaluation and interpretation analysis is important as it provides useful inputs based on which business decisions can be taken. The overall productivity through the use of interpretation analysis improves as it helps to fill the gap which is present and at the same time develops the required fundamentals through which different needs of the visitors are better satisfied. The process looks towards presenting and highlighting the manner in which different aspect and facets of customer services can be focused. Since, the ratings and views are directly provided by the visitors it helps to understand their response better. The overall phenomenon helps to shape and provide a direction based on which steps have to be taken. This thereby acts as a medium through which overall productivity improves and the preservation of different assets becomes possible. While looking to carry out the interpretative analysis focus and attention has to be laid towards ensuring that the different factors are not manipulated and the views and ratings are provided correctly by the visitors. This can be improved by using different methods along with interpretative analysis so that it helps to understand whether the results achieved through different methods are the same or not. This thereby helps to focus on areas which need to be worked on and improved so that the service level standard improves. It is important that every organization looks at using some process or the other as it helps to fill the gap and at the same time understand things from the visitor’s perspective. The management is better placed as they have better knowledge and information to act on. This reflects in the manner different services are planned and developed and serves as a benchmark for improving future performances. The overall impact is strong and provides the different areas which need to be focussed on. This results in multiplying the effectiveness of rendering different services. The process also helps to find out the critical success factor and based on it service standards can be improved. The negatives ratings and views provides an opportunity for improving by focusing on different areas and helps to understand the manner in which different cultural and other factors are given importance to. The overall process looks at streamlining the manner in which different business decisions are taken and helps to fill the void which is present in the market. The process also leads towards strengthening the manner in which sustainability is achieved as it provides the direction based on which future services can be developed. This acts as a mechanism through which service standards are better improved and helps to work on core areas for the future. The process results in preservation of assets which thereby provides a sustainable advantage and helps to use the different resources wisely. This is in addition to the fact that the different cultural needs and requirements which will help to improve the quality of service are being addressed. The overall impact will be development of better services for the future and looking into factors which will help to evolve and make changes in the manner different services are delivered.
