Introduction Global business environment is becoming highly competitive as several leading organisations in this world are trying to develop and implement unique strategies in business operation process in order to gain potential competitive advantages over competitors. Social media marketing strategy has been emerged as significant marketing strategy that has been adopted and implemented by several leading global organisations in order to enhance brand awareness and positive business growth rate. There are several strategies and processes that have been ensured by each and every global organisation in order to enhance a successful social media presence. This particular essay will consider the examples of organisations that are doing well regarding social media presence and suggest four key process that are required for successful social media presence. Discussion There are four important ways that can be undertaken by several organisations in order to enhance successful social media presence. These four aspects are plan, persistence, pay and prioritise. These four aspects will be mentioned below with the help of contemporary examples. Plan Planning and strategy development can be considered as important aspects of successful social media presence. There are several small and medium enterprises that do not even plan before adopting and implementing social media marketing strategies. For this specific reason, those organisations failed to get success through the adopted and implemented social media marketing strategy. Example of Dove Real Beauty Campaign can be considered as a perfect planning of social media marketing strategy. The organisation used common people in the videos and texts while putting the advertisements on social media networking platforms. They tried to convey emotional marketing and promotional message. The planning of consideration of common women in promotional campaign can be considered as the example of ultimate planning of an effective social media marketing strategy. This specific social media campaign helped the organisation to create significant brand awareness among the target customers. In addition to this, effective implementation of planning and strategy development process helped this campaign to redefine the face and concept of real beauty. It is true that successful social media presence of an organisation requires huge amount of time behind the planning and strategy development process. Example of Tesco Plc. can be considered in this case. The organisation is the first ever organisation that adopted and implemented social media marketing strategy in UK retail industry. Slowly and gradually, the organisation promoted its products through several leading social media networking platforms that helped the organisation to create significant brand awareness among the target customers. This specific strategy was well planned and the organisation implemented plan with sheer patience that minimised the level of future errors. In addition to this, consideration of customer feedback on social media pages helped the management of the organisation to develop future strategies quite significantly. Persistence Persistence can be considered as an important aspect that needs to be considered by the organisations while implementing social media marketing strategies. According to this aspect, the organisation is committed to its goals, objectives, values and vision. Example of PepsiCo can be considered in this case as sheer persistence in social media presence helped the organisation to gain huge support from its both valuable internal and external stakeholders. PepsiCo is one of the leading soft drink manufacturing and distributing organisations around the globe. The organisation called for support from its shareholders and all the stakeholders regarding the initiation of environmental sustainability programme. The organisation ensured zero solid waste and water recycling during manufacturing and distributing process. In an addition, the organisation promoted its campaign through social media networking sites, such as Facebook, You Tube and Twitter. These campaigns got millions of likes from the social media users. Moreover, the organisation started to sponsor several charitable events that increased the brand awareness of PepsiCo (Greener 72). Tweets and constant re-tweets on social media networking platforms made this event successful through the social media networking sites. Therefore, it is highly important for the organisations to have persistence in using social media platforms to enhance effective business level and marketing strategy development process. Pay It is true that, posting an advertisement on social media platforms requires a pay-for-pay landscape. It means that an organisation has to pay some amount against putting an advertisement on social media networking platform. Therefore, it is highly important for the organisations to ensure the selection of effective social media platforms where the number of social media users is higher comparing to the others. Facebook can be considered as one of the leading social media networking sites that have been used by the organisations to post an advertisement on a particular promotional campaign. On the other hand, the number of Facebook users is growing significantly (Barker 57). Looking into these aspects, the organisation has increased the charges of pay-for-play landscape. Example of Clorox can be considered in this part of the essay. The organisation has effectively used Facebook to post advertisements regarding its campaign BleachitAway. This campaign got huge success initially. Later on the organisation developed more strategies based on the success story of this online social media campaign. The organisation is paying money behind the appropriate use of leading online social media portals. There it is clear that, each and every organisation should pay for innovation and creativity. Moreover, the organisations need to focus on number of users of a social media platform before paying money to put an advertisement on that particular website. Prioritise Time management can be considered as an important aspect in the social media marketing activities. Each and every organisation should value for time management and customer satisfaction for successful social media presence. Example of Whole Food’s social media marketing process can be considered in this part of the study. It is true that each and every customer requires effective and significant customer services and high quality products against their paid money. This particular organisation is constantly using different social media platforms in order to gain potential competitive advantages over their competitors. Whole Food constantly updates contemporary photos of customer experiences and new product lines. The organisation has strong presence on Twitter. The customer can share their views and experiences regarding the consumption experiences at organisations. It is vital to do so. The management of the organisation never compromises with the quality of the customer service management process. If the marketing department found any obligation or complaint against organisation regarding consumption experience of customers, soon the organisation tries to develop strategies to overcome those issues. It is the example of giving priority to time management and customer satisfaction aspect. Effective stakeholder engagement approach has helped the organisation to gain huge success from the social media marketing strategies (Gamse 45). Therefore, it is highly important for the organisations to give priorities and values to the time management and customer satisfaction aspect in order to ensure successful social media presence. Conclusion It is clear from above discussion that social media marketing strategy can be considered as an important strategic marketing tool that can help an organisation to gain potential competitive advantages over the competitors. There are four ways that can help an organisation to ensure successful social media presence. These four aspects are pay, persistence, plan and priority. An organisation cannot become successful in social media presence without the integration of these four aspects. Moreover, examples of several leading organisations also have been mentioned in the above part of discussion in order to reveal that how these four aspects have helped the organisations to become successful in social media presence. Hence, it is proved that effective social media presence requires integration of planning, payment, persistence and priorities. Works Cited Barker, Melissa. Social Media Marketing.
